Overhang Overview

We provide many options and styles when it comes to the overhangs on your roof. Whether you call them eaves, rakes, birdboxes, pig pens, or whatever. They provide an important role to your home. Whether they extend 1 inch or 1 foot they still serve the same purpose. To shed and control water runoff as well as provide proper ventilation to the roof system. 

Many older homes were not fitted with modern style overhangs so, we have different options to suit different scenarios but in the end the goal is the same. To re-fit or re-frame and then wrap the lumbers with materials like vinyls or aluminums. Even if you are wanting to replace the existing components. This process is the same.  

No matter the color, style or texture. The components consist of channels, soffit, fascia, and drip edge. Now it is important to note that the drip edge cannot be changed unless the roof is replaced because the drip edge is fastened under the roofing systems and it is not proper to try and remove it due to damaging the system. However, all channels, drip edge and fascia are all custom made by us from 19ga. aluminums. The soffit is typically purchased from manufactures so that it can be either vented or solid depending on the application. The soffit can be either composite, vinyl or aluminum. 

We offer pricing per linear foot on overhangs. Our price is standard for standard projects with many options. We do have minimum charges for small repairs and extra charges for projects that are 2-3 story. Our services are usually limited up to 3 stories in height. re-framing or re-fitting is priced separately. For safety purposes, not all projects are accepted by our company.
